This program is ideal for motivated 10-12th graders.Spring 2016ActiveTechIndustrial TechnologyManufacturingFor three consecutive years the Leap Learning Systems team and its participating ASM students have volunteered at Bookamania, the Chicago Public Library's daylong, free celebration of books, reading and discovery. Bookamania draws thousands of children ages 3 to 10 and their families to the Harold Washington Library Center each fall. Our team effort has helped to make it an exciting day by leading book-related crafts and storytelling. This event is a great way for our teens to help younger children celebrate language and literature. We plan to do this event again or an event like it.
